Is my image uploaded?
No — that is the key feature. The image is processed locally in your browser by built-in canvas APIs, so ID photos and screenshots stay on your device.
Will it look blurry?
Quality of 0.7–0.9 is usually visually almost identical yet noticeably smaller. Raise it for clarity or lower it for a smaller file, and compare freely.
Can it compress PNG?
Yes. JPEG/WebP compress most; if you keep PNG output it shrinks mainly by resizing, since PNG is lossless and the quality slider does not apply to it.
